Purpose of the association:

  • Acting in the professional and economic interests of the owners/users of nucleus and multiplier herds approved by the Pig Research Centre; 
  • Involvement in the creation of documents for use by the members as well as for advertising and consulting purposes; 
  • Organisation of information meetings for members and sending members information at appropriate regular intervals; 
  • Initiating contact between members and at the same time promoting relationships between colleagues; 
  • Assuming a coordinated role for the Danish nucleus herds; 
  • Acting in the interests of Danish breeders worldwide.
